On January 8, 2013 a few of us hiked to the top of Crabtree falls to explore the ice covered waterfall. The 1.2 mile ice covered path was a challenge as well. The images in this folder do not come close to the majestic feel of the falls and the ice sculptures that it created in the frigged cold of 13 degree temps.
Would I do it again...maybe but probably not, it was tough getting to the top but once there it was an incredible feeling. Many of the close up ice images were taken from the very top of the falls.
