"In Remembrance Comes Sacrifice"
~Climbing For Those Who Climbed Before Us~
When we think of the men and woman that lost their lives to rescue another, we should never forget the sacrifice they made for our freedom.
I took this image at the '9-11 Stair Climb" held at the SunTrust Center in Richmond VA on September 8, 2013. A total of 343 firefighter climbed the stairs 5 times in memory of those fallen during the 9-11 attack on the World Trade Centers. I wanted the guys in the photograph to name this image, because it was their emotion, courage, sweat & determination I captured that day!
